Continued strikes on Ukrainian targets

Despite the diplomatic exchanges, military operations continued across Ukraine. Overnight into 15 September 2026, Russian forces launched 200 drones targeting Kyiv and several other cities. Ukrainian officials reported that the strikes killed two people and hit port facilities, energy infrastructure, and a fuel station in the capital.
