Liverpool eliminate Tottenham at Anfield

Dowman scores twice in Arsenal victory at Ipswich

Arsenal maintained a perfect start to the campaign with a 4-2 win against fellow Premier League side Ipswich Town. Manager Mikel Arteta deployed an almost entirely second-choice lineup following five straight wins in earlier competitions. Sixteen-year-old midfielder Max Dowman, who registered a goal and an assist against Everton during Arsenal's league title run last season, scored seven minutes into his first senior appearance of the term.
