The public will of Italian singer-songwriter Francesco Guccini, drafted on 19 January 2022, was formally registered on 8 September 2026 before notary Luigi Stame in Bologna. Present at the registration were Guccini's second wife, Raffaella Zuccari, and his only daughter, Teresa Guccini. The document revokes all previous testamentary dispositions and designates Zuccari as the universal heir to his estate. Under these terms, Zuccari receives the singer's primary residences, including the house in Pavana in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines where Guccini died on 6 August 2026 at age 86. She also inherits the apartment at Via Paolo Fabbri 43 in Bologna, a location that gave its name to Guccini's 1976 studio album and served as a focal point for his audience.

Allocations to daughter Teresa Guccini

In substitution of her statutory share, Teresa Guccini, born from the artist's relationship with Angela Signorini, receives substantial commercial and intellectual property assets. The will assigns her all of Guccini's ownership shares in the corporate entity Limentra Srl. Teresa also receives a 50% share of all copyright revenues stemming from her father's professional work as a singer-songwriter and author, with the remaining 50% going to Zuccari.

An autographed section of the document entrusts Teresa with specific family heirlooms. These include Guccini's Trameleluc guitar, a gold signet ring engraved with the initials F and G that belonged to his father, and a Leonardo da Vinci watch. Guccini left a specific instruction regarding the maintenance of the timepiece.

Previous testament and notary proceedings

The formal registration follows procedural confusion surrounding an earlier testamentary document. On 8 September 2026, notary Lorenzo Luca opened a prior will drafted on 17 December 2015, which had also assigned the Via Paolo Fabbri property to Zuccari while making separate provisions for Teresa. Notary Luca clarified that the 2015 text was superseded and invalidated by the 2022 document lodged with Luigi Stame.

Family history and property legacy

Guccini and Zuccari married in 2011 in Mondolfo, in the Marche region, following a relationship that began years prior. Before moving permanently to Pavana, the couple lived in the Via Paolo Fabbri residence where Teresa grew up. Teresa's mother, Angela Signorini, previously commented on the public interest surrounding the Bologna apartment.

It would be nice if they turned it into a museum and it was not inhabited, so there would be no problems.

Signorini noted that she had chosen not to live there following her separation from Guccini to avoid living inside a museum. The formal registration before notary Stame concludes the legal execution of Guccini's final dispositions.
